Matthieu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Text sme prv\u00fd raz publikovali v \u010d\u00edsle Jese\u0148 2024.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inscen\u00e1cia <em>Lovers, Dogs and Rainbows<\/em><strong> <\/strong>je fascinuj\u00facou objavnou cestou do detstva Afri\u010dana Rudiho van der Merweho, ktor\u00e1 je napoly dokumentom a napoly tane\u010dn\u00fdm divadlom. Medzi spomienkami na slnkom sp\u00e1len\u00fa zem, psy a ovce, ktor\u00e9 sa chovali, strihali a zab\u00edjali, sa vyn\u00e1ra soci\u00e1lno-politick\u00e1 realita: posledn\u00e9 roky apartheidu, v ktor\u00fdch sa ka\u017edodenn\u00fd \u017eivot odohr\u00e1val medzi n\u00e1sil\u00edm a l\u017eou pre v\u0161etk\u00fdch, ktor\u00ed patrili k chudobnej, \u010diernej alebo kv\u00edr \u010dasti spolo\u010dnosti. Kv\u00edr inscen\u00e1cia sa odohr\u00e1va v rytme popovej, barokovej a elektronickej hudby a afrik\u00e1n\u010diny \u2013 jazyka zdeden\u00e9ho po holandsk\u00fdch osadn\u00edkoch. Kladie si ot\u00e1zky o kore\u0148och, dedi\u010dstve a vlastnej identite, h\u013ead\u00e1 mo\u017en\u00e9 sp\u00f4soby, ako v\u0161etky tieto aspekty a spolu\u017eitie r\u00f4znych foriem \u017eivota, kult\u00fary a pohlavia prepoji\u0165.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Rudi van der Merwe sa narodil sa a vyrastal v Calvinii (Ju\u017en\u00e1 Afrika), teraz \u017eije v meste Calvin (\u017deneva, \u0160vaj\u010diarsko). \u0160tudoval divadeln\u00fa vedu a rom\u00e1nske jazyky na univerzit\u00e1ch v Stellenboschi a \u0160trasburgu, n\u00e1sledne absolvoval magistersk\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadium ex.e.r.ce na CNN Montpellier. Je autorom piatich vlastn\u00fdch diel a vy\u0161tudoval postprodukciu a filmov\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadi\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ak\u00e1 bola idea performancie <\/strong><strong><em>Lovers, Dogs and Rainbows<\/em><\/strong><strong>? \u010co v\u00e1s in\u0161pirovalo?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projekt som pripravoval dlho. V\u017edy som chcel urobi\u0165 dielo o mojom p\u00f4vode a v\u00fdchove. Politick\u00e9 zmeny ma dohnali k&nbsp;tomu, \u017ee som chcel hovori\u0165 rasizme, ktor\u00fd je na vzostupe aj vo \u0160vaj\u010diarsku. Ako biely Juhoafri\u010dan som bol zaraden\u00fd do \u0161katu\u013eky, \u013eudia si do m\u0148a akoby premietali my\u0161lienky na z\u00e1klade nich. Povedal som si, \u017ee jedin\u00fd sp\u00f4sob, ako m\u00f4\u017eem o t\u00fdchto veciach hovori\u0165, je robi\u0165 to z perspekt\u00edvy o\u010dit\u00e9ho svedka. S\u00fa tam zobrazen\u00e9 veci, ktor\u00e9 som videl, ktor\u00fdch som bol svedkom a ktor\u00e9 som za\u017eil. Ve\u013ek\u00e1 \u010das\u0165 inscen\u00e1cie je postaven\u00e1 na mojom vz\u0165ahu s otcom a ten sa v tom \u010dase za\u010dal vytr\u00e1ca\u0165, tak\u017ee som mal pocit straty. Prem\u00fd\u0161\u013eal som, ako by som mohol da\u0165 zmysel tejto v\u00e4zbe na krajinu a rodinu, ktor\u00e1 slabla, preto\u017ee m\u00f4j otec umieral. V&nbsp;predstaven\u00ed s\u00fa dokument\u00e1rne filmov\u00e9 prvky, ktor\u00e9 zachyt\u00e1vaj\u00fa n\u00e1silie a&nbsp;s\u00fa intenz\u00edvne. Chcel som prinies\u0165 do inscen\u00e1cie trochu \u013eahkosti, trochu farby do sveta, ktor\u00fd bol premietan\u00fd. Drag charakter mi pripadal ako spr\u00e1vna vo\u013eba. V \u010dase vzniku som prv\u00fdkr\u00e1t za\u010dal sledova\u0165 <em>Ru Paul&#8217;s Drag Race<\/em> a ve\u013emi ma to bavilo. V minulosti som ve\u013ea pracoval so \u017eensk\u00fdmi postavami, ale pou\u017e\u00edval som \u010dist\u00e9 siluety tela, bez nedokonalost\u00ed. A teraz som tomu dodal aspekt teatr\u00e1lnosti a&nbsp;prehnanosti gest, tak ako to robievaj\u00fa drag queens. S\u00faviselo to aj s pojmom <em>woke<\/em>, ktor\u00fd sa pou\u017e\u00edval v&nbsp;tom obdob\u00ed (<em>woke<\/em> je <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Adjective\">pr\u00eddavn\u00e9 meno<\/a> odvoden\u00e9 z <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/African-American_Vernacular_English\">afroamerickej \u013eudovej angli\u010dtiny<\/a> AAVE, ktor\u00e9 p\u00f4vodne znamenalo ostra\u017eitos\u0165 vo\u010di <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Racial_prejudice\">rasov\u00fdm predsudkom<\/a> a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Racial_discrimination\">diskrimin\u00e1cii<\/a>. Tento term\u00edn si ob\u013e\u00fabili <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Millennials\">mileni\u00e1li<\/a> a pr\u00edslu\u0161n\u00edci <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Generation_Z\">gener\u00e1cie Z<\/a>, pozn. aut.). Zaujala ma my\u0161lienka prebudenia \u0160\u00edpkovej Ru\u017eenky, preto\u017ee Rosie&nbsp;van Doorn je slovn\u00e1 hra, znamen\u00e1 doslova \u0160\u00edpkov\u00e1 Ru\u017eenka. Pre m\u0148a to bol hrav\u00fd sp\u00f4sob, ako hovori\u0165 o prebuden\u00ed. Ale mysl\u00edm, \u017ee odvtedy sa slovo <em>woke<\/em> stalo ve\u013emi problematick\u00fdm. V istom smere za\u0161lo aj dos\u0165 \u010faleko, a\u017e \u013eudia maj\u00fa pocit, \u017ee sa stalo pr\u00edli\u0161 autorit\u00e1rskym.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A ako na va\u0161e predstavenie reaguj\u00fa div\u00e1ci v r\u00f4znych krajin\u00e1ch?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vytvoril som ho v Ju\u017enej Afrike a vyvolalo dos\u0165 emot\u00edvne reakcie. Preto\u017ee pre v\u00e4\u010d\u0161inu \u013eud\u00ed to nie je nezn\u00e1ma l\u00e1tka, poznali krajinu, \u013eud\u00ed aj r\u00f4zne postavy. Neprekvapilo ma, \u017ee najm\u00e4 \u013eudia \u010diernej pleti boli ve\u013emi emot\u00edvni, ale prekvapilo ma, \u017ee sa ich to aj dotklo. \u010cas\u0165, kde hovor\u00edm o mojom otcovi, mo\u017eno vn\u00edma\u0165 univerz\u00e1lne, hoci kv\u00f4li tomu, \u017ee v Ju\u017enej Afrike m\u00e1me oddelen\u00e9 sk\u00fasenosti, \u010dasto sa vn\u00edmame ako na jednej alebo druhej strane konfliktu. Aj vo \u0160vaj\u010diarsku v&nbsp;\u017deneve vn\u00edmali predstavenie ako ve\u013emi int\u00edmne. Zvl\u00e1\u0161tne bolo, \u017ee ke\u010f sme to hrali v talianskej \u010dasti \u0160vaj\u010diarska, mal som pocit, \u017ee publikum sa na t\u00e9mu v\u00f4bec nedok\u00e1\u017ee napoji\u0165 a \u017ee ju absol\u00fatne nen\u00e1vid\u00ed. Bolo im to nepr\u00edjemn\u00e9, nena\u0161li v tom \u017eiadny humor ani \u013eudskos\u0165. Tak\u017ee neviem, mysl\u00edm si, \u017ee to m\u00f4\u017ee by\u0165 prijat\u00e9 vrele, ale aj odmietnut\u00e9. Budem zvedav\u00fd aj na to, ako predstavenie prijm\u00fa \u013eudia na Slovensku.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u010co o\u010dak\u00e1vate?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ak ste z prostredia, kde je nejak\u00e9 spolo\u010densk\u00e9 n\u00e1silie vo\u010di marginalizovan\u00fdm skupin\u00e1m alebo \u013eu\u010fom, alebo vo va\u0161ej rodine m\u00e1te nejak\u00e9 \u0165a\u017ekosti, tak si mysl\u00edm, \u017ee v tom predstaven\u00ed sa s mnoh\u00fdmi vecami viete stoto\u017eni\u0165. Je to moja filozofia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ak\u00e1 je teraz situ\u00e1cia kv\u00edr komunity v Ju\u017enej Afrike?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ne\u017eijem tam u\u017e ve\u013ea rokov. Tak\u017ee aj to, \u010do viem, som iba \u010d\u00edtal. Napr\u00edklad gejsk\u00e9 a&nbsp;lesbick\u00e9 man\u017eelstv\u00e1 s\u00fa tam leg\u00e1lne u\u017e od roku 2004, preto\u017ee sme mali ve\u013emi progres\u00edvnu \u00fastavu, ktor\u00e1 vst\u00fapila do platnosti roku 1996. V Listine pr\u00e1v sa v\u00fdslovne hovor\u00ed, \u017ee nem\u00f4\u017ee existova\u0165 \u017eiadna diskrimin\u00e1cia na z\u00e1klade sexu\u00e1lnej orient\u00e1cie. Av\u0161ak spolo\u010dnos\u0165 je st\u00e1le dos\u0165 konzervat\u00edvna, tak\u017ee sa ned\u00e1 o\u010dak\u00e1va\u0165, \u017ee \u013eudia bud\u00fa ve\u013emi nad\u0161en\u00ed z toho, \u017ee ste gej. V niektor\u00fdch komunit\u00e1ch dokonca riskujete svoj \u017eivot, ke\u010f to ozn\u00e1mite. Najm\u00e4 lesby \u017eij\u00face v chudobnej\u0161\u00edch komunit\u00e1ch sa st\u00e1vali obe\u0165ami zn\u00e1silnenia kv\u00f4li ich sexu\u00e1lnej orient\u00e1cii. \u010ci\u017ee z\u00e1vis\u00ed to aj od postavenia v&nbsp;spolo\u010dnosti.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u010co pripravujete najbli\u017e\u0161ie?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dokon\u010dujem film o svojej babi\u010dke. Je to op\u00e4\u0165 aj o politike, o tom, ako sa s \u0148ou prel\u00edna osobn\u00fd \u017eivot a hist\u00f3ria. Moja babi\u010dka patr\u00ed do gener\u00e1cie, ktor\u00e1 v roku 1948 hlasovala za apartheid a exportovala ho. Tak\u017ee pre m\u0148a bola ve\u013emi srde\u010dn\u00fdm, miluj\u00facim \u010dlovekom, zatia\u013e \u010do pre mnoh\u00fdch Juhoafri\u010danov predstavuje zlo. Ide teda aj o to, aby som zos\u00faladil svoj osobn\u00fd vz\u0165ah k tejto osobe s t\u00fdm, \u010do predstavuje pre mnoh\u00fdch Juhoafri\u010danov.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teraz som sa rozhodol, \u017ee priprav\u00edm inscen\u00e1ciu, ktor\u00e1 v\u00f4bec nie je politick\u00e1 alebo osobn\u00e1, pracujem na kyberpunkovej sci-fi adapt\u00e1cii Shakespearovej <em>B\u00farky<\/em>. T\u00e1to inscen\u00e1cia hovor\u00ed o umelej inteligencii. Je sk\u00f4r zameran\u00e1 na bud\u00facnos\u0165, je to z\u00e1bavn\u00e1 \u0161ou, v ktorej sa objavia aj kv\u00edr t\u00e9my. V <em>B\u00farke<\/em> napr\u00edklad vystupuje duch vetra, ktor\u00fd sa vol\u00e1 Ariel. A Ariel sa v tejto verzii stane sexu\u00e1lnym robotom. Tak\u017ee v skuto\u010dnosti nie je \u017eenou ani mu\u017eom, ale m\u00e1 \u017eensk\u00e9 tvary. Zosob\u0148uje umel\u00fa inteligenciu po\u010dasia. A aj ja pristupujem k \u013eudskej sexualite ako k po\u010dasiu, d\u00e1 sa \u0148ou manipulova\u0165, ale ned\u00e1 sa predpoveda\u0165.
